I have worn Birkies many years ago, but stopped because the foot bed was too hard. But, I love these. They are so light and I hardly know they are on. I wear an 8 1/2 and bought 39 and they are perfect. They are all that I wear.

I absolutely love these Birk sandals. I have 3 pairs of them. I love that they are washable and they are so comfortable. This type of sandal is my go to shoe this summer

I looked at these for a long time before ordering. I like the firm footbed of traditional Birks, but was interested in the water-resistant version. I ordered my regular size (39) and they fit perfectly. These are softer and don't seem to have the same arch support, but still very nice. I tested them to water the garden and learned that the lip of the footbed holds water, which could be nice on a hot day. The EVA version is not inexpensive, but a good choice if you want washable Birks.
